The coffee is good, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is top notch. It's a place for everyone. I walk from my house to this coffee shop often and see locals congregating at tables in the front, patrons working on laptops and colleagues gathering for meetings. I have trouble ordering before I get sucked in by the local artwork on display. I also attend art shows at FTC on occasion. My drink of choice is a cafe Americano with a shot of peppermint. Mmmm. My kids are obsessed with Fort Thomas coffee and ask to walk there multiple times a week. They usually choose juice boxes, or blueberry pomegranate frozen yogurt a.k.a. FRO YO during the hot months. The hidden gem for parents is the play area in the back of the coffee shop equipped with seats for little ones and plenty of toys. This area alone makes it possible for me to meet a friend and grab some coffee while having the kids with me. Since the kid area is in the back, you don't have to worry about interrupting those sipping quietly upfront. Great place. Great owners. So glad it's a part of my community.

Love this place. Just tried for first time. It wasn't busy when I was there so it was quiet and I could get lots of work done. Staff was friendly. I loved the atmosphere and always enjoy supporting local businesses. The coffee is awesome here. Definitely will be back!

I've been to this coffeeshop twice, and both times I was really impressed. The coffee was delicious, the staff were fun and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. There was lots of local art hanging on the wall, a little area for kiddos in the back, and the kind of small community coffee shop every town should have. I hope they are able to thrive in Ft Thomas.

Fort Thomas Coffee is a nice little coffee shop. For those that don't live in Fort Thomas, I would highly encourage you to give it a try. For me, I feel like I escape a big city when I pull onto Fort Thomas Avenue and park my vehicle. It's further reinforced when I walk into Fort Thomas Coffee and I'm greeted with a warm smile and see all the eclectic decorations scattered throughout Fort Thomas Coffee. With regards to the menu, I haven't had the opportunity to deviate from the core offering (coffee and espresso drinks), but on the several occasions I have been there to order my latte, they are spot on with flavor (perfect blend of sweet and espresso) and temperature (not too hot and not too cold). The service has always been friendly too, which is a must for me. Most of us are venturing into a coffee shop because we want some caffeine to liven our attitudes, so I feel like good service is a crucial element, and thankfully they don't struggle in that department. Based on my limited visual observation I don't notice a huge bakery / confectionary section; I like having that option when I go to a coffee shop, but it's not a must-have for me - something to think about for those of you with appetites or little kids who may want something to snack on (they do have Frozen Yogurt!).

Coffee shops really don't get much cuter than this one! The decor is so inviting, and there's a nice feel around the place because of the local art all over (you can even buy most of it). The service is friendly and quick. Coffee is delicious, whether you are looking for a cup of plain joe, or a fancier drink (my favorites are the Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte or the Lavender Latte - seriously). I've gotten a few of the breakfast sandwiches too, and they are quite delicious! I've never had an issue with parking, and parents will be happy to see there's a little play area for the kiddos in the back of the store. I love coming here for a special coffee treat in the mornings - it's not exactly on my way to work, so I don't make it in here every day - probably better for my wallet that way! If you're in Fort Thomas (or even if you aren't), make sure to check this place out! FYI - they are closed on Sundays!

The coffee isn't the best in the city, but located in the quaint Ft. Thomas neighborhood, Ft. Thomas Coffee is in a great location. It's never been overly crowded on any of my visits and it offers a play area for kids, which is a HUGE plus. Our kids look forward to going. They also have frozen yogurt and a variety of other iced drinks to beat the summer heat. It provides a great environment to meet a friend, read a good book, or get some work done on the free wifi. They also have great seasonal art shows. So, if you don't go too often, odds are you will get to see a new regional artist with each visit. Definitely recommend if you are in the area or need a place for a meetup, especially if kids are involved.

Who doesn't like to get a little community with their coffee? And you can do that at Ft Thomas Coffee! Stop in and you'll likely see folks from the community chatting it up and enjoying the laid back comfortable atmosphere here. You can also pick up a bite to eat if you're feeling hungry. The food menu isn't extensive, but everything I've had has been delish! And you're not really here for the food are you? The coffee is delightful! Get just a plain cup of coffee or one of those fancy drinks and you'll sure to leave happy.

Just moved to Ft. Thomas so we decided to check out this local coffee shop. The first plus is that parking is readily available around the shop and you won't struggle to find a spot even on a weekday morning. When you walk in you will notice that the designer of the shop put a ton of work in and really paid attention to detail. It creates a nice local atmosphere without being obnoxious. The coffee might be important to you and you'll be happy to know that it is just like the decor. It is moderately priced and much better than other places. If you like regular joe and don't need bold flavored halitosis inducing sludge you'll like ftc. The menu has a wide range of offerings. Service is top notch.

I enjoy supporting local, mostly because I know I'm supporting another family locally. Most indie coffee shops in the 'nati have the decor down. Then I taste the goods. And then I return to [insert major coffee chain here] until a friend wants to meet up at said indie shops. Fort Thomas has the decor down. It's well-designed and decorated - I can tell they invested time and money to make it just right. Colors are awesome, it pops, and is great to sit down and relax as well as study at one of the 3-4 tables that are available. For a family - there's a back area that is near the restroom that has toys and tons of books to read. A HUGE value for this family man. And a huge value for those who aren't exactly looking to studying with kids under their feet. Coffee: great. Had an Americano so I could taste the espresso. Smooth, dark & sweet espresso. Thank you, FTC. The two improvements (to get the 5-star) would be an easier way (than facebook) to get there, and extended hours. I'm sure the hours will come with time and profit. The website (at time of post) does not have an address or directions. I had to do a little digging to find it. A major part of my enjoying coffee is the consistency of a good cup (hence returning to chain stores often), so I will keep updating this review as I visit. If you want a good cup and good atmosphere, even with your family, got to FTC-FTC (Fort Thomas Coffee - For The Coffee). Thanks for making the choice to choose local easy today, FTC.

We love FTC. The service is great, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and the coffee and breakfast sandwiches are great. I also love that while I'm there I can pick up a bag of Whirlybird Granola, another one of my daughter and my local faves. There's even a play area for my daughter (aka- the boss) near the back of the shop which she thoroughly enjoys. All this within walking distance to our house!

Love FTC! They have such a fun, yet chill atmosphere. Great coffee roasted by Seven Hills in Cincinnati, great breakfast sandwiches, great staff, great owners, just great! The little touches truly MAKE the experience - clever signage, lovely displays, kids play space, its just a perfect small town coffee shop! Love it!

Excellent coffee shop, nice servers and lovely atmosphere. Would like to give 5 stars, wish muffins were home made and they had butter for bagels. Also low sugar options and when grain, something Starbucks could never aspire to! Keep it real! FTC
